Lately, Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery and India’s A Group signed an EPCM (Engineering Procurement Construction Management) general contract for 770,000 tons/year caustic soda project as the first phase for the 2 million tons/year green PVC complex project. The project is by far the world’s largest single caustic soda and PVC integration project.
Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery is the only supplier of complete sets of chlor-alkali equipment in China that integrates basic design, detailed design, core equipment manufacturing, installation and start-up services, and is one of the world’s top three suppliers of complete sets of ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers. A Group is the second largest group in India, mainly involved in ports, new energy and power generation and transmission, coal trade, real estate and airport operations, etc. The two parties stated that the project will be built into the world’s first green, digital caustic soda and PVC project.
This project is also the largest single caustic soda project order signed by Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery since its establishment.
